The De los Pericos Cave is located in the surrounding area of the locality of Confrides. It is located in the northern area of the Sierra de Aitana and is one of the highest villages in the province. The De los Pericos Cave has a surface area of more than 1000 m2, with wide passageways and large galleries to go through that will not stop amazing you. What are you waiting for? Grieta Aventura will guide you on your trip Caving in Alicante Grieta Aventura will start by guiding you through a chaos of blocks that lead to the gallery and to a fault, which by coming together, allow us to do a circular route. Along the route in the De los Pericos Cave, we will find different galleries where we will be able to admire limestone formations, such as stalactites, coral, columns, and more. The route through these galleries in the De los Pericos Cave will bring us to a fault, where we will have to descend a rappel to be able to admire another gallery perfectly sculpted by the passing of time.

Grieta Aventura will make you feel comfortable and safe so that you can enjoy this exciting experience and turn it into one of the best memories of your adventure caving in Alicante. We will give you all the necessary material to carry out the activity and we will give you the appropriate instructions so that you do can the route under maximum safety conditions. The De los Pericos Cave is located in Confrides, municipality of the Comunidad Valenciana, on the inland of the province of Alicante, in the county of the Marina Baja. Taking advantage of coming to do this activity, you can visit the Castillo de la Aljofra, located at the Foia de Sales, at the so called “Penya del Castellet’or “Cúa de bacallar‘, it is the highest castle in the province: 1,100 meters a.s.l. It dominates the whole Guadalest Valley and from it there are spectacular views all the way to the sea.  Although it is in ruins, you can still see several elements of the castle, such as two towers, a circular one and a squared one, a crenellated wall and the well.
