Dry canyoning

The De la Penya Blanca Ravine can be combined with a starting trek to its headwaters, about 1 hour, at the end of which we find this beautiful ravine in Alicante.  We will start the descent at the most opened part, more like hiking with some downhill scrambles and short rappels, to get us warmed up.  When we arrive to the cascades, the technique changes to handrails and guided rappels to avoid falling into marmites with water and a multi-phase rappel. TheDe la Penya Blanca Ravine  is locate in Benialfaquí, a district located on the edge of the Sierra de Cantacuc belonging to Planes.

It is a very long ravine descent  given that it has 17-18 rappels, the longest being 27 meters high. The 17-meter rappel is completely overhanging, very beautiful and exciting. Being careful during the descent is a given?! On some rappels you will have to manage something to avoid certain waterholes. Unless you want to get wet! At Grieta Aventura we provide you with all the necessary material so you can enjoy a day of active tourism.
