Water canyoning

The  Chorradores del Otonel (Otonel Water Jets)  is how they are called. It is a series of beautiful and continuous natural cascades that empty into the Júcar River. It is one of the largest and most beautiful sporting ravines in the province of Valencia. It has 8 rappels, the highest being 60m, quite similiar to one of its neighboring ravines, the Del Nacimiento Ravine.

It is accessed from the village of Otonel heading towards Millares,  and down towards the  Jucar River.

Otonel,is a district of the village of Cortes de Pallas (Valencia). This current ghost town used to be an important urban center in the past. It is home to one the most beautiful ravines of Valenciaand of those visited in all of Spain. It famous water jets, falls, slides and 60m cascade make it one not to miss for those who love aquatic canyoning. Its crystalline waters and its grim limestone formations will make us enjoy this descent.

Taking full advantage of a day of active tourism, Cortes de Pallás, offers a numerous variety of tourist attractions to visit in the area. One of them is the Charcas del Ral (Ral Pond), where nature offers its maximum expression in a unique setting with views.  Another neck of the woods that is a must see are the Cañones del Júcar, which can be viewed from a touristic riverboat ride, considered  the most beautiful river cruise in all of Spain;or the Cueva Hermosa(Splendid Cave), a cavern of great interest, karstic formation, and in which you can observe the formation of stalactites and stalagmites.
