Dry canyoning

Discover one of the most exciting adventure sports  and enjoy unique landscapes: the Cucales Ravine , also called Cantacu Ravine; we can find it in the municipal district of Catamarruc, district of Planes de la Baronía (Alicante).

Practicing canyoning in Alicante  descending the Cucales Ravine  is going to amaze you. It starts at 670 m. above sea level, ending, after an approximate distance of 1,290 m., at 495 m. a.s.l after a descent of 175 m. It is usually a dry ravine  and occasionally has water during the rainy reason; although it can not be ruled out finding some wells with water that last for some time after the rains.

During the descent, we will find 14 rappels, most of them of short length, the longest one being 23mts; a spectacular fall that feels like a long tube. This fall has a reputation, according to those who do canyoning as being the most beautiful in all the province of Alicante.
